Beginning July 1, 2024, the City of Gastonia is launching a new and improved public transportation service—GoGastonia. Replacing the traditional fixed-route Gastonia bus system, this modern, on-demand transit service is designed to get riders where they need to go—faster, more conveniently, and closer to their final destination.

GoGastonia will allow passengers to schedule rides when they need them, offering flexible pick-up and drop-off locations throughout the city. Whether you’re heading to work, school, shopping, or appointments, GoGastonia makes it easier than ever to navigate Gastonia, NC without a personal vehicle.
